[Sponsored] The KitchenAid Colour of the Year 2021 is Honey! This comes as no surprise as warm, rich hues are beginning to dominate across interiors and fashion alike. Now more than ever humans are craving togetherness and a sense of community, and Honey radiates that positivity and warmth. With the knowledge that the colours in my space affect my mental state, I’m happy to invite this symbol of joy and human connection into my home.
I enjoy making memories with the kids in the kitchen, and sweet treats are always their first request. Here’s how we made my Vegan Chocolate, Banana, Hazelnut Ice Cream.
Servings: about 6
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 2-3 hours
Ingredients:
2 cups frozen bananas,chopped
⅓ cup toasted hazelnuts
¼ cup cocoa powder
1 cup coconut cream
¼ cup maple syrup
Directions:
1.Put all the ingredients into your K400 Blender and blend until smooth.
The K400 Blender is perfect for blending tough ingredients, from kale to almonds, seeds and more, and takes whole foods to a smoothie in seconds. (The hazelnuts in this recipe blended entirely smoothly.) It’s built to last with durable, high quality KitchenAid materials and a unique asymmetrical blade that blends at four distinct angles.
2. Serve as is for a smoothie or transfer to the freezer, in a freezer safe container, for 2-3 hours to serve as ice cream.
3. Enjoy!
The power of the KitchenAidⓇ K400 Blender made this recipe so easy to whip up and the new Honey colour is very chic and really elevated the modern aesthetic of my kitchen. I’m going to find it hard to put this one away.
The KitchenAid Colour of the Year 2021 is available in the KitchenAidⓇ K400 Blender and the KitchenAidⓇ ArtisanⓇ Series 5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer.
